Selection
Also called selections
A specific product the owner has chosen: the shingle color, the tile, the faucet.
Why it matters to your home
An allowance is the budget. The selection is the actual thing. Signing off locks it.
Products
Honed limestone field tile
A honed limestone tile for a bath floor or wall. The sample is the color.
Unlacquered brass fixture set
A living-brass faucet set. It will darken where hands touch it. That is the finish, not a defect.
